This is one of the easiest way to get some traffic(a descent amount) to your blog...

submitting a blog is just like signing up for an email account in yahoo or Gmail or something else...very simple!

here i have listed some of good blog directories,submit your blog there and get some traffic!!

1.Technorati:Technorati is the largest blog(weblog) directory currently tracking more than 112.8 million blogs.

2.Topblogarea:This is another big blog directory which rates and rank the blogs interms of Unique visitors your blog gets.

3.Topblogging.com:This is another source of weblogs which also rank the blogs according to the unique hits they get.

4.Fuelmyblog:This is a cool weblog resource which is different from the ones we discussed so far.You can vote to other blogs and others vote to you.They will keep the top six blogs(voted the most) on the homepage.You can join their forums, read other blogs content,joining in the compitetions and win prizes,etc.

5.Blogtoplist:They rank according to the unique hits you get.But,there is a little change, they will give you to place a voting button in your blog.If any visitor votes for your site from your blog,that is equal to 100 unique hits,but there is only one chance per visitor(one IP address) a day.

6.Blogroll.net:Another blog resouce which rank accorking to the votes and unique hits your blog get.

7.Myblogdirectory:This doesn't list blogs interms of any visitors,etc. All blogs are listed randomly so,every blog get the same exposure.If you sent more traffic from your blog to them,your blog will be choosen as a BLOG OF THE DAY which will be placed on the homepage and your blog will recieve the whole traffic their site gets on that day.

8.Topbloglists:Another blog directory which will rank your blog according to the unique hits your blog will get.

9.Blogarama:Cool weblog directory currently having more than 69,000 blogs.It will list the blogs in terms of the score your blog have.The score depends on so many things like incoming traffic,outgoing traffic,user ratings,etc. and if you send more traffic to they,they will list your blog in the top 100 blogs.

10.Bloghop:You can find blogs related to your blog topic here.Have a nice tracking button and currently having more than 29,000 blogs.

11.Bloggingfusion:It is a new one and not a very big one(around 950 blogs) at this time.But,it is a good one and doing pretty well.You can increase your blog exposure, worth a link to it.

12.Blogcatolog:t is another good blogging resource,you can promote your blog here for FREE,find other blogs related to yours,etc.They have a special formula to rank the blogs,the more visitors,hits,comments,neighbourhood you get the more your rank will be.Another recommended one.You can join their forums,discussion board,groups,etc with other bloggers and share your thoughts.

13.Mybloggingarea:This is a very good weblog directory which ranks the blogs accoring to the unique visitors they get,brought me so much traffic to my celebrity blog than all the other blog directories.I recommend this.

Removing Blogger Navbar..

Learn how to hide,disable or remove the blogger navbar(navigation bar) from your blog.
First,let us see what blogger navbar is:

Blogger navbar allows users to easily navigate to other random blogs and it also has a feauture to search the blogs ,and mark any blog as spam.
So,now you have a clear idea of what really a blogger navbar is.So, why so many people prefer to just remove the navbar inspite of the feautures it has like search,etc.Many people think that, it spoils the look of the blog,especially if your blog has differnet subtitle layout which looks too obvious to see for a visitor.Well, let me come to the actual point on how to disable or hide your blogger navbar.

Below is the step-by-step procedure on how to do it with photos to make it easy to understand.

1.Sign in to your blogger account and click the layout button next to your blog name

2.Next,click the edit html tab as shown in the below picture.

3.Add the below html code as specified in the below picture.

display: none;
}

4. Save the changes.

Now, you can see your blog without that navbar(this tip can only hides the navbar,it doesn't completely delete it).If you want the navbar to appear again,just remove that code and save the changes.

Well,this is also a way to earn money from your blog..if your content is really good,then some people will do donate to your blog...In this post im gonna show you how to make your own Paypal Donate Widget!!

here's how to add it:

1.Log-in to your paypal account :

2.Click on the 'Merchant Services' tab (see at the top of the page)

3.Scroll down the window and you will see an option "Donations" in the right sidebar.Click on it

4.Now,you will see some options like Donation name/service ,donation id,etc etc...
The first field (Donation name/service) is the only thing that is required and all the remaining fields are optional.

Here's another trick to get some traffic..submitting/PINGING your blog to various services could get you a decent amount of visitors....fr this all you're gonna do is to download the software and install it and start pinging!

Getting Traffic To your blog..

Well, to be honest thats not easy but very very tough enough for a newbie blogger..But if you do some hard work you could get some descent number of visitors to your blog.

Do the following thing:

1.Make at least on post per day
2.DO NOT COPY - let your content be ORIGINAL
3.Submit your blog to Google
4.Submit your blog on different blog submission sites like blogcatalog,etc,..

With the above things you DO NOT GET MUCH VISITORS..but still it WORKS!

An alternaative way to get visitors is 1:1 traffic exchange sites! Yeah!! You go and sign up there and surf the sites..In turn Get visitors!! Thats all!! It is one of the easiest way to get TRAFFIC,try it..If your blog is really useful,then you'll get fans,which will get you some good visitors automatically!!

Well,for a newbie blogger(like me!),it will be really tough to make money blogging.Even now,while writing this post,i'm not earning a lot from my blog,but i have seen some proven techniques to earn money from blogs.

The most important method is placing ads on your blogs.It doesn't mean that you can earn hundreds of dollars from this from the startin.But in time and hard work its possible.

Popular Advertising methods are:

* Adsense

* Adbrite

* Bidvertiser

The services stated above are similar in workinh principle.You have to sign-up with them and they will give you a HTML code(ad),that you have to place in your blog/site.When somebody clicks on the ads on your blog/site,you will earn money.There are many more sites like this,but the above three are most used among the Bloggers!

But for that you may have to attract the traffic to your site.How to attract the traffic?I'll tell it in my next post.

How to create your own blog?

Step1

Go to the Blogger website.

Step2

Click on "Create your blog now." From that page you will create a Google account. If you already have a Google account, you can sign in to Blogger with your Google account. If you do not have a Google account, then fill out the form to create one. Click "Continue" when finished.

Step3

Decide on a title for your blog. Your title can complement your blog theme. If it is for a business, it could be the name of your business. Or if you are writing poetry, or simply writing about life, then it could be titled "My Life Story" or "My Life in Words." This is the point where you can be creative.

Step4

Choose your blog address after creating your title. Make it something easy you can remember.Once you have completed these steps, click "Continue."

Step5

Choose a template that you desire from their template gallery. Choose a color and style that will fit the mood of your blog. After this has been finished, click "Continue."

Step6

Now, your blog has been created. From here, you can begin posting to your blog by posting information, little pieces of your life stories or instructions on how to make something. To post your first blog, click, "Start posting."
